The Brown Family Christmas

On Christmas Eve, we participate in a great tradition: The Brown Family Christmas.  Folks, let me just tell you ... my family is crazy!  I love it!  I have a special place for anyone who has dated or married a member of my family and has been brought into our midst for a holiday celebration.  There's really nothing else like it.  We eat delicious goodies, then tell stories and laugh until we all have an asthma attack, then sometimes there's singing that really probably only the Good Lord enjoys the sounds of, then we might eat some more!  This Christmas we ate, played Dirty Santa, got some prank gifts from Santa, and sang some.  It was roundly enjoyed by all!

Lunch is served!

You know my dad is feeling well when the fake poop comes out.  He surprised poor unsuspecting Aunt Kay with a surprise in her seat.

Me and my cousin Tammy.  She's about to have a baby any minute!

Trenton, the cutest one in the family, playing with Stuart.

Mom, fist-pumping in excitement as we start the Dirty Santa shenanigans

This is never a good sign ...

Dad got some nosehair trimmers from Santa.  A hint, perhaps?

Gary got a clown suit

And dad got a second gift of Preparation H?!

Wayne's new hunting shirt

And Santa brought Stuart a foot massager wrapped in a bra box!

Mom won a bun warmer in Dirty Santa!

In all seriousness, we had a great visit with this side of the family.  Wish we could do it more often!  More posts to come soon!
